We are very please to announce, We have acquired a course fishing lease for Thurlby gravel pit.
There will be 10 spaces available per day and these are to be booked through the Chairman via chairman@lincolnangling.org

Guidelines for an Enjoyable Syndicate
General Conduct
● Respect for Nature: Members are expected to respect the natural environment. Avoid damaging plants and disturbing wildlife. Only trim back what you need to.
● Noise Levels: Keep noise to a minimum to ensure a peaceful environment for all members
● All litter/waste to be taken home Help keep the lake area clean and tidy.
● Gates to be always locked in a chain to chain style.
● Don’t block entrances or tracks when parking.
● No fishing off the Watersports ramp or Platform. We share the lake with the paddle sports club. They are active on Sundays and event days, during those times there is to be no fishing in the roped off corner.
● Fishing in designated areas only, please refer to the Venue map.
● Swimming is not allowed in the lake for members of the fishing club.
● No boats of any kind to be using while course fishing inc bait boats.
● Barbless hooks only, maximum size 12. Rig checks will be done at random.
● Float, feeder and pole fishing only with safe rigs, no fixed rigs.
● This is a catch and release site only. Anyone found responsible for the removal/introduction or harm of fish will have their membership revoked.
● Wading into to the lake is to be done responsibly and at the individuals own risk.
● No peanuts or nuts of any kind. No mouldy bait or dumping bait at the end of sessions.
● Retention of fish is to be done safely in keep nets, no specimen fish to be retained in keep nets, max 5lb. Any Carp caught must be dealt with safely
● Any specimen fish captures to be reported to the bailiff in order to track fish stock. Suitable care and Unhooking mats to be used for specimen fish.
● Drones are prohibited on site, strict no usage policy.
● Max 1 guest to be escorted at all times.
● Anyone under 16 years of age is to be supervised by parent/guardian at all times when on site.
● Vandalism: Any form of vandalism or destruction of property will result in immediate expulsion and potential legal action.
● No Firearms on site.
● Any stove or BBQ must be raised off the floor and contained safely. Take extra care in the summer.
● Only dry nets, mats and slings are welcome onsite. Don’t spread diseases or invasive species.
● No fishing for Pike or Carp without valid permit. No night fishing at all. Entry is sunrise to sunset. Off site within 30mins of sunset. Times accordingly to met office app.
● No Pets.
● Respect Others: Be considerate of other members, associates and their experience at the lake.
● Adhere to Rules: Follow all posted rules and guidelines to ensure a safe and enjoyable visit for everyone.
● You are responsible for your own property and safety on site, no liability will be accepted.
The lease is shared and there is an option to buy the Carp syndicate ticket at £375 a year and the winter Pike ticket at £220 November to March.
All litter to be taken home and gates to be left locked at all times.
