This bank holiday weekend LDAA attended the Burghley House Game and Country Fair, where they were fortunate enough to be allowed to fish part of the Burghley House lake.

Fishing taster sessions for beginners were headed by Lincolnshire Junior Angling Academy coach Kev Martin, with Assistance from Julie Mole (LDAA secretary) and Sally Andrews (LDAA bailiff).

Despite having changeable weather and wily fish, we can happily report every youngster fishing caught several Perch and left keen to pursue more fishing opportunities in the future.

LDAA would like to thank the organisers of the show and Barry Grantham (Head of the Burghley Show fishing village ) for the invite.
