On Saturday 21st May, Keep Britain Tidy programme, RiverCare, are hosting a Love Your River community day in Lincoln!
Alongside, the Environment Agency, Canal & Rivers Trust, British Canoeing, Lincolnshire Rivers Trust, Lincoln Canoe Club, Lions Contractors & the University of Lincoln Sustainability team, we will be looking at the species growing on and in the River Witham and how we can all look after our watercourse!
From 10am to 2pm, we will have various activities for any and all to join us, including getting up close and personal with an invasive aquatic plant species and a bankside river clean to remove plastic pollution from our waterway.
Everyone is welcome, all activity equipment is provided and free refreshments will be available.
