Brief description of fishery:
To fish starmers lake you are reqiured to hold either the day or night add on to your standard membership. This is due to the impressve specimen size fish. Any one wishing to apply please contact the venue head bailiff Gary lewis.
FISH SAFETY RULES
– Syndicate members are to fish a maximum of 48 hours and not return for 48 hours
– Minimum 15lb line on any part of the rig with no braid to be used as main line.
-42 inch landing net is the minimum size required
– Minimum 1″ thick unhooking mat with 4″ padded sides. No smaller than 36″ diagonal measurement or same off the ground cradle.
– No fixed leads. All rigs must be able to lose leads with minimal force. Safety lead system only.
– Maximum fish retention period is 1 hour.
– Always check leader knots.
– STRICTLY NO FISH REMOVAL. All fish to be returned to the water alive.
– All anglers must be in possession of a valid EA rod licence which covers the appropriate number of rods used. A maximum of 3 rods to be used. A 2 rod ruling can be implemented at the discretion of the head bailiff
– All anglers must be in possession of Propolis fish care treatment.
– Strictly no open fires. Any disposable barbecues are to be safely off the ground.
– Respect other anglers, no poaching of swims. Only fish in designated areas.
– All litter to be removed.
– Random rig and bait checks may be carried out by bailiffs. Please do not be offended if this happens.
– No camping tents, appropriate fishing equipment only.
-No catches of carp to be posted on social media with location.
– No generators
– No loud music
– No drugs or alcohol
– No nuts of any kind
– Children under 16 to be accompanied by an adult.
