Parking is via the main entrance to Hartsholme Country Park on the B1378 (Skellingthorpe Road) and along Shearwater Road (off Skellingthorpe Road)

Brief description of fishery:
Hartsholme Park lake is a large body of water, which is surrounded by the beautiful Hartsholme Park Woodlands and grasslands.
This venue is open to LDAA members and non-member day tickets.
Fishing is only permitted from the highlighted areas on the map.
Hartsholme Venue Rules
No fishing from any type of watercraft.
All anglers must hold a valid Environment Agency rod licence.
Clubmate Membership must be carried at all times.

Any on 16 years old or younger must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
Maximum of 2 rods can be used no more that 3 meters apart and you must be within 5 meters at all times
Barbless and Microbarbed hooks allowed for coarse fishing.
No fixed leads / safe rigs only.
Ground bait in moderation; no nuts, beans, blood worms or jokers.
Unhooking mats must be used for pike or any fish you can not unhook off the ground in net or in hand. A padded cradle with sides is needed for carp.
No retaining fish overnight (unless authorised matches with keepnets).
Strict catch-and-release (except where otherwise stated).
No litter, fires or excessive noise.

Gates to be kept locked, cars in designated areas only.
Dead baiting for pike is allowed between 1st October and 31st March.
Only soft plastic single hooked lures are allowed 7cm or smaller, this is all year round.
No treble hooks spinners or large pike lures
Barbless trebles may be used when dead baiting one point can be barbed for holding bait.
Maximum of 5 members may night fish for a maximum of 48 hours. This is booked though the Chairman.
